11/25 Troop Meeting Notice – Change of Location – Swimming

Note that we will not meet at First Christian Church next Monday Nov. 25th. We
have the Edwardsville High School aquatic center reserved from 6:30 to
8:30. Troop 31 has set this up, we will share the pool with them and Troop
27.

Scouts and adults can swim, and those not interested in swimming can still
work advancement or other normal meeting activities. Bring swim suits and
towels. We can conduct swim tests, though no guarantee a summer camp will
accept, but it would count for Troop activities.

Scouting for Food – Bag Pick-UP This Saturday (11/16/19) at 9:00 AM.

Hello Troop 216!

*Scouting for Food* *Bag Pick-Up *is this Saturday, 11/16/19. We will meet
at the Bike-Trail Parking lot at the corner of Schwarz Rd. and Hwy 143
(across from Madison County Highway Department complex) at *9**:00 am. *Please
see the map below.

Once everyone assembles Mr. Valley will hand out the maps of our designated
area to each driver. We hope everyone can help…and especially need adults
to help transport given the large area to cover. Once the food is picked
up, the drivers will bring it back to our meeting area and load it into Mr.
Valley’s SUV, and possibly other vehicles if needed.

Please wear your Class A uniform and appropriate footwear. In addition to
taking part in this great cause, your participation will count for service
hours and as an activity for rank advancement.

I can be reached on my cell phone (314) 378-8140, or email (
T_Valley@yahoo.com) at any time for questions, updates, etc.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday morning.

-Tim Valley
