Fwd: Email for Color Guard

Good Evening

As you know our Cardinal/Cubs Game is fast approaching and your son have
indicated they would like to participate in the color guard flag ceremony.
We need to be assembled at Gate 1 by 6:00 on Wednesday Evening. All
participants MUST be in full Class A uniforms (neckerchief and slide) and
looking good. We are representing our not only our troop, but BSA as well
so we want to look sharp especially since this is a pretty awesome thing
we are doing. If there are any questions, please email
mikefairburnden5@gmail.com or text me at 618-406-1120. I won’t be able to
respond tomorrow till the afternoon, but I will answer questions to the
best of my ability.

There may be 2 open spots for scouts to participate. If interested in
participating, please let Mike Fairburn know.

Thanks,

Mike Fairburn

7/31 Flag Ceremony participation at Cubs/Cardinals game – respond by 7/22

Good Day Troop 216 Families!

As you are well aware we have been running a fundraiser for the scouts with
the Cardinals for a baseball game vs the Cubs on the 31st of July. I am
pleased to announce that we have sold enough tickets to get an extra perk.
We need up to 10 scouts to participate in a color guard flag ceremony
before the game. Since Mike Okoniewski is out of town this Monday, I have
agreed to step up and get names. Requirements of the scouts to participate
in this event is that they will need to wear the full Class A uniform while
presenting the colors. Once they are done, they can definitely dress more
comfortable to enjoy the ever popular rivalry between these two great
teams. If interested, I need names by the end of the meeting on Monday so I
can send those to our Cardinals Fundraiser Rep. More information I am
sure will follow and will be distributed to those families of scouts once I
receive it.

Have a great weekend and stay cool out there!

URGENT! Cardinal Tickets sales status (need to sell 38 more tickets) and payment request

Troop 216,

We have just two weeks before we need to pay the cardinals and turn back up
to 75 tickets. This means we need to sell 225. We are almost there, right
now just 38 more tickets gets us to 225. However, that assumes that those
of you that have tickets out sell them. Please see the attached
spreadsheet for the latest and greatest. Let me know if you need more and
please turn your money for the tickets that you have sold. If there are
any discrepancies with this latest info, please let me know –
okie135@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Mike Okoniewski
