Troop 216,

Good morning, hope you all are doing well.  Given the latest outbreak of
COVID and further restrictions being put in place by state and local
governments, we will be having Zoom meetings probably through at least
the middle of December. Since next week is Thanksgiving, we have
canceled Monday night’s meeting on 23 November.  In addition, the Church
has currently restricted the use of their facilities to all outside
groups due to the latest outbreak.  This is currently in effect till 5
December with the option of being extended. The caving campout scheduled
for 5-6 December is still on the books, but we are leaning toward
canceling that as well, more to follow.

I think I can speak for the troop leadership when I say that we as a
troop have really handled this crisis in stride. We have utilized all
COVID mitigation protocols to keep everyone safe while still being able
to offer a viable scouting program.  I want to thank each of you
personally for your support and trust in how we operate, allowing for
meetings and activities during these challenging times.

The future Zoom meetings will be offering some eagle required merit
badges.  Look for details next week for the links and agendas to those
