Hiking season is here!

– Where SIUE Gardens upper parking lot. We will hike on the GORC
trails for about 3 – 5 miles.
– 6 Arboretum Ln, Edwardsville, IL 62025

– When 9 am show // 9:15 start of hike // 11:00 return to the parking
lot.
– Who All are welcome! Scouts, Families, dogs on leashes.
– Bring Water, sun protection, proper clothing for weather.
– Philmont scouts will lead the hike along with Adult leader
– Philmont Trekkers: these hikes are physical conditioning and
equipment checking for our summer trek:
– Please wear the clothes you plan to take on the trek.
– Bring the pack you plan on using – we will have loaner packs.
– Recommend 25 pounds of weight (we will work up to 50 pounds
eventually).
– We will practice / discuss Philmont skills on the trail.
