Hello Scout families,

It is short notice but after an unsuccessful attempt to reschedule the
cancelled January cabin camp out (Beaumont had no weekend openings for this
entire month), we have planned the following Troop day activity:

Upper Limits Indoor Climbing Gym
<upperlimits.com/maryland-heights/>
Maryland Heights, MO
Sunday February 17th

The Rock Climbing and Rappelling Merit Badge class is a 3-4 hour
interactive class taught by certified merit badge counselors. Scouts are
responsible for meeting the requirements as outlined in the appropriate
merit badge booklet. Participants must provide their Merit Badge
application for the counselor to sign. The class includes necessary
equipment rental and additional climbing. The minimum age for the course is
11. Class is limited to 12 Scouts. All participants must complete a
waiver. Climbers under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal
guardian.

– Cost: $40/participant
– Arrive at Gill residence by *8:45 A.M*. [5 Equestrian Court South
Glen Carbon]
– MUST have signed waiver — either printed paper

– The first 12 Scouts to turn in their permission form to Ms. Gill will
be given priority to participate. A second class could be planned for a
future date if there are Scouts interested

meeting, additional details included there
– Mr. Gill will have the Merit Badge blue cards at the Monday meeting
